Please branch and build eza in epel9.
eza is unmaintained in Fedora and was dropped from Fedora 42+, so this is unlikely to happen.
You're right, I didn't realize. I brought up support for Fedora to their repo https://github.com/orgs/eza-community/discussions/1427. Hopefully it'll be added, but it's not a dealbreaker.
This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
Does this include Fedora, too?
> eza is unmaintained in Fedora and was dropped from Fedora 42+ Though there are efforts to bring it back.
I'm solely asking what this ticket requests, because I'm unfamiliar with some of the processes; does EPEL9 support mean Rawhide support, directly or indirectly? I ask because I don't imagine that it can be in EPEL without being tested in Fedora first. 🤷
This ticket requests the package to also be built for EPEL 9. Since the package is currently not available in Fedora, adding it back to Fedora is the first step that needs to happen. This requires a package re-review, which is already happenning here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2413750
