I setup a new VM to test KDE 42 ISO - Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-42_Beta-1.4.aarch64.iso (checksum verified). When the VM starts up I see the Grub menu. Choosing either the install or test media and install options both fail to find "/dev/disk/by-lable/Fedora-KDE-Live-42" and drop into emergency mode after 198 seconds. ls /dev/disk shows no by-label folder. The same VM booted from Fedora-KDE-Live-aarch64-41-1.4.iso boot up as expected to the KDE live desktop. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create VM in macOS version of Parallels. 2. Use Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-42_Beta-1.4.aarch64.iso as the cdrom image 3. Start VM Actual Results: VM fails to start KDE live desktop drops to emergency shell. Expected Results: Boot to KDE live desktop.
I can mount the Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-42_Beta-1.4.aarch64.iso ISO under my existing KDE 41 VM.
Does it work with this nightly? https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/compose/branched/Fedora-42-20250330.n.0/compose/KDE/aarch64/iso/Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-42-20250330.n.0.aarch64.iso
I can succesfuly install using Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-42-20250330.n.0.aarch64.iso in parallels. Great to have this fixed.
