When installing 42 beta rc7 cosmic DE the framework keyboard and touchpad works but usb kb/mouse do not work in cosmic UNTIL you install another DE. I also experience this on the live cd rc3 and the KB/Mouse continue to not function after upgrade to latest, rc7, until I install KDE using this command: sudo dnf install @kde-desktop Once kde-destop is installed cosmic greeter and cosmic see my keyboard and mouse input and the RGB lighting comes on. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect USB keyboard and mouse through a Dell Dock (have not tried directly into laptop) 2. Live boot Fedora COSMIC Spin 42 Live ISO on Framework Laptop Actual Results: Observe that the framework keyboard works fine but the USB keyboard/mouse do not. Expected Results: External KB/Mouse should work Once I install kde plasma, even if I still use cosmic greeter, the KB/Mouse starts working perfectly. sudo dnf install @kde-desktop
