It was already backported and released in 3.11.12. See the failed build of 3.11.12 in Koji: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2695675

This has been resolved in Python 3.12.8+

We can backport https://github.com/python/cpython/issues/126500 to fix it. So far I've asked upstream if they'll consider backports.
