I noticed that when using the "All printable (excluding space)" option for Character Set, the resulting passwords now only include "!" and no other special characters. All the other Character Set options seem to still work normally. It happens on both F42 (gnome-password-generator-2.2.2-1.fc42.noarch) and F41 (gnome-password-generator-2.2.2-1.fc41.noarch). To illustrate, here are several 99 char passwords generated sequentially with the "All printable (excluding space)" option: wLWDgsH6h706Ek!2aTk8oWk6b4achp0mL9eTTaXT4U!cq8aiSgZhgQnw75jGFAandHZ7Mqt4G4iVapageH6!wRP8vVorHeyG21c fksgIXeSV!nb9NKeeqU8ODtC7b0UyaqLLSPFWzGELUa0Jn1rGQwb5hNUJEI1gAcF7o6T0LIBT87H6ClamoBrFuzFaHVBw8KANSU rVzD51yRuqTiz!QkmuM7lP!XjvIx9SP0UjCntU5JzQBw0Xb9Q0qD7BDEvOOirNEZxrkY1dms3MjAHPTFH8Ek5eVy3mvss9piqe1 4!lFoFGqkZ01yix2wEztNgL15KNZoSDVHQHbp4ECWpTL5Ak1aQkzzH7ihsDdm9pUW!7Qc0NF4HhjywfBdviLgz4JoXGzUME2Avw For some reason I couldn't downgrade on F42, but if I downgrade to gnome-password-generator-2.1.0-17.fc41.noarch on F41, the passwords again look normal, for example v}s}tCl'UaZ5Lw(C%J9R1).@`=06B\i+d=nUXDP_UfH>ujB$99kTMq-sE9@?)&g'RKB?r7oG:dX9`Ux5Rv173Fa!-0lD\'oS)L) Reproducible: Always
There is indeed a bug in the definition of this character set. Iām working on a fix.
