Description Vidushi Mishra 2025-04-02 02:30:43 UTC
Description of problem:

Creating a Lifecycle policy (Expiration or transition) or creating Tiering configuration for RGW buckets leads to a "500 Internal server Error"

Displayed in the screenshot

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

ceph version 19.2.1-84.el9cp

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a RGW bucket
2. Either enable an LC policy (Expiration or Transition) or set the Tiering configuration on the bucket.
3. The policies and configurations are set, yet we see a 500 Internal server error.

Actual results:

After setting LC or Tiering policies, we see a 500 Internal server error.

Expected results:

LC or Tiering Policies and Configuration should not lead to any errors on the UI.
They should be displayed and work as expected.
