Occurred when I attempted to generate a backtrace for a duplicate of , whilst an unreportable `kerneloops`, like https://github.com/abrt/gnome-abrt/issues/389#issue-3357233963 depicts, was invisible. Happened again a few minutes ago. I had a major crash of xorg. At the same time, two other events got registered: - bug 2399956 duplicate - vmware workstation - joplin-desktop (joplin-3.4.12-1.rp.fc42.taw.x86_64) When I clicked at joplin in gnome-abrt, it crashed (alone, not together with xorg) and both vmware and joplin events disappeared.
Note: I did not ask to generate a backtrace. Simply crashed before I got the option.

This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 42 is nearing its end of life. Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 42 on 2026-05-13. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a 'version' of '42'. I would mark this as a duplicate of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2441237, instead of having it closed as EOL. They should be 1:1, just different OS versions.
