Description Aoife Moloney 2025-04-22 17:41:14 UTC
This is a tracking bug for Change: Package builds are expected to be reproducible
For more details, see: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Package_builds_are_expected_to_be_reproducible

Over the last few releases, we changed our build infrastructure to make package builds reproducible. This is enough to reach 90%. The remaining issues need to be fixed in individual packages. After this Change, package builds are expected to be reproducible. Bugs will be filed against packages when an irreproducibility is detected. The goal is to have no fewer than 99% of package builds reproducible.

If you encounter a bug related to this Change, please do not comment here. Instead create a new bug and set it to block this bug.

Comment 1 Aoife Moloney 2025-08-19 21:11:59 UTC
Dear change owner, this is a reminder that your change is required to be 100% code complete by August 26, which is the start of beta freeze. Please provide a status update on your change in the Incomplete Changes Report if you are not able to move your change to 'ON_QA' before this date. If you need to defer your change to the next Fedora release, please let me know and I will reassign this bug and the change page. Thank you kindly.

Hi @dcavalca @zbyzsek and @jelly, apologies for the oversight but this tracker bug autoassigned itself to me. Just an FYI this change needs to be complete before we go into beta freeze on Aug 26. If you need to retarget, please let me know. Thanks!

We are not ready with this yet. Please reassign to f44.
