Description aldo@gigantesco.org 2025-04-27 11:33:01 UTC
The WiFI interface doesn't work anymore since the update to linux 6.14.3-200. I can use the wireless starting the PC with the old version of the Linux system.
I can provide the output of dmesg for both version if necessary.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Every time I start the PC.
2.
3.

Additional Information:
If I start with the old release 6.13.12-200 the interface works.

Please include details of the hardware, what driver etc, and what was the last kernel that worked.

Comment 4 Peter Robinson 2025-04-27 12:13:32 UTC
Also why report it against firmware when you say it's kernel?

The problem arose with the new kernel release but if you look at the DMSG output it seems that the firmware loading fails.
It seems that the firmware loading is repeated many times and always exit with error.
