I'm creating this manually because I couldn't find the automatic FTBFS bug (Any idea why this is missing or where it went?) Anyway, the builds for Fedora 42 and 43 are failing: https://koschei.fedoraproject.org/package/libvisual?collection=f43 It looks to me like this packages is needed by gstreamer1-plugins-good which is needed by gnome-shell, therefore it would be part of the default workstation install, is that correct or did I mess up my package dependencies in one of the many upgrades? Maybe I can help with tracking down and fixing those build issues, but I think I'll wait for some feedback first. Reproducible: Always
Any thoughts on this issue? I'm happy to help but I'd like to hear something before I invest the time, like would you accept a PR fixing this FTBFS? I'm also happy to help long term as co-maintainer (fas: dreua).
Wow, sorry, this one fell between the cracks for a while. I think I can fix it up quickly here.
No worries, thanks for the quick reply now. Actually there already is a PR which should fix it: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libvisual/pull-request/4#request_diff
Hi! I'm helping out with libvisual upstream and have write access to branches and issues. If you would like to cherry-pick any post-0.4.2 commits the view at https://github.com/Libvisual/libvisual/compare/libvisual-0.4.2...0.4.x may be of interest. If any unfixed issues remain after that, I'm happy to team up on fixing things upstream. Thanks!
