Comment 3 Fabio Valentini 2025-05-05 11:40:18 UTC
Pushing this "breaking" update (from "major" version 0.10 to "major" version 0.11) broke stuff in rawhide:
https://koschei.fedoraproject.org/package/rust-igvm_defs?collection=f43

Please coordinate breaking changes like this with dependent packages in the future.

Oops.

What is the recommended way to do so? The rust sig mailing list?

Fix: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-igvm_defs/pull-request/1

Comment 7 Fabio Valentini 2025-05-06 12:59:58 UTC
Yeah, either via the "rust" list (the "rust-sig" list is the private subscriber-only list for bugmail) or the #rust:fedoraproject.org room on Matrix.
