Comment 1 Ben Beasley 2025-05-14 11:01:08 UTC
The build_with_total_retry_duration_and_max_retries method of retry_policies::policies::ExponentialBackoffBuilder was renamed to build_with_total_retry_duration_and_limit_retries.

The sole dependent package is rust-reqwest-retry. No code changes are required, but since reqwest-retry re-exports retry-policies::policies as reqwest_retry::policies, this is a SemVer-breaking change for reqwest-retry as well. I suggested the change in https://github.com/TrueLayer/reqwest-middleware/pull/233, and I’m going to wait to see if reqwest-retry chooses to release a new (SemVer-incompatible) version anytime soon. Note that retry-policies and reqwest-middleware are both developed by the same company and GitHub organization, https://github.com/TrueLayer.
