Description ricky.tigg 2025-05-14 11:34:47 UTC
Hello. Thank you for packaging this program – v. 6.9. Are obsolete the URLs in RPM package – 404-error.

---
$ dnf -q info iw | grep -i ^url
URL: http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Documentation/iw
$ man iw
Documentation at kernel wiki
 <https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Documentation/iw>.
iw                22 November 2020                IW(8)
---

Correct URL:
https://wireless.docs.kernel.org/en/latest/en/users/documentation/iw.html

P.S.: man-pages are outdated since missing command options – out-of-scope since an upstream issue though.

Thank you for catching this.
Updated URL for Rawhide

Comment 2 José Ignacio Tornos Martínez 2025-06-20 12:53:39 UTC
It is ready for Fedora Rawhide from:
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2715648
So, I can close this ticket.

Comment 3 ricky.tigg 2025-06-30 09:05:53 UTC
Link to built information on Koji reveals restrictive access to the resource; for instance, not accessible to me. The task must be complete though since the ticket was closed.

resource access attempt:
section RPMs | arch.: src | iw-6.9-4.fc43.src.rpm | click "info"-link ; https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/rpminfo?rpmID=42825927.

Message in page:
