Description Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek 2025-05-18 11:07:44 UTC
Before f42, nut has /usr/sbin/rhino, and rhino had /usr/bin/rhino. Since the bin-sbin merge in f42, both provide the same path and conflict as install time.

Please either rename one of the binaries (strongly preferred option) or add Conflicts so that the packages cannot be attempted to be installed together.

This conflict will also cause upgrades to F42 to fail for users who have both packages installed.

I don't know which of the binaries can be renamed, so I'll reassign this to the other package to get the maintainers in CC.

Reproducible: Always

/usr/sbin/rhino is a driver for Rhino UPS. I'll rename it to /usr/sbin/nutdrv_rhino (and its man page) using same prefix as some other possibly conflicting drivers use.
