Description Kaleb KEITHLEY 2025-05-23 17:12:58 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #2348730 +++

Please branch and build sympy in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain sympy in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS: kkeithle);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/sympy/adduser

Might consider disabling tests as those pull in lots of dependencies

Orion, I'm assigning this to you as you are listed as the EPEL contact on https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/sympy/. If you would prefer to have Kaleb handle things, you can add him, or let me know and I can do it.

I've added Kaleb to the package. I don't have a lot of time right now.

--- Additional comment from Kaleb KEITHLEY on 2025-03-03 12:06:24 UTC ---

There are a lot of dependencies. FYI I'm going to sit on this for now and wait to see how many of the dependencies get built.
