Description of problem: Randomly applications stop responding to mouse inputs tho the keyboard is still functional. (I believe this may only be happening to Xwayland applications, as i have only noticed this issue in KiCad (flatpak and fedora flatpak variant), Musicbee (application running via wine), but i have noticed this once happening in the header bar area of firefox Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 48.3-1.fc42.x86_64 How reproducible: Using the application as is seems to trigger the issue and is especially problematic in kicad where the application doesnt function at all Steps to Reproduce: 1. Opening the application 2. use the app and or switch to another window 3. it will suddenly stop accepting inputs via mouse Actual results: erroneous behaviour from the mouse where clicks and hovering of the cursor doesnt affect the applications at all Expected results: the application reacting to mouse button presses and mouse pointer hovering Additional info:

Upstream discussion appears to have located the specific commit and a fix as been merged upstream today. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/4465 Mitigation for fedora users currently is to downgrade to 48.1-1.fc42 package
