Comment 7 Ricardo 2026-08-27 01:57:36 UTC
Hello,

I installed Qt 6.11.2-1.fc44 from updates-testing, which resulted in a plasma crash and black screen with mouse cursor only:

plasmalogin[1032]: Error from greeter session: "Process crashed"

Installing plasma-workspace-*-6.7.4-2.fc44 from updates-testing dodn't make a difference.
Reverted back to previous versions.

System info:

Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.29.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 7.1.10-200.fc44.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.0 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics

Installing the Qt 6.11.2-1 / 6.11.2-2 packages plus all of the plasma 6.7.4-2 packages (all from updates-testing) result in a usable desktop now, thanks!
