Comment 1 Romain Geissler 2025-06-20 09:02:34 UTC
Hi,

Back then, I did to make everything work by submitting:
 - this in rawhide: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/ipython/pull-request/90#commit_list
 - this in EPEL 10: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/ipython/pull-request/91

But when I saw that Kaleb did directly push some other changes to build ipython I cancelled these. I will try to rebase and re-submit these.

Comment 2 Mattias Ellert 2025-06-21 06:11:23 UTC
In rawhide the specfile for the ipython package was changed so that a bootstrap build with checks disabled no longer implies that the +test subpackage is not built. This resolved this issue in rawhide (see bug #2371951).
