Description Rodrigo Capa 2025-06-23 09:25:13 UTC
Description of problem:
There are multiple warnings on the Dashboard related to MTU mismatch on different interfaces:

Node <node> has a different MTU size (9000) than the median of devices named <interface>.

Cluster is four nodes, and one node has a different assigned interface than the others.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Quincy 17.2.6-246.el9cp / 6.1.7 / 6.1.8

How reproducible:
Probably simulating the interface configuration of a cluster

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual results:
Alerts are presented for all the interfaces while it's confirmed that configured MTU sizes are the same, EXCEPT for one interface.

Expected results:
Only one alert should be presented on current configuration

Additional info:
It's expected that the customer will change the assigned interface for the discrepant node.
