Looking forward to this release in Fedora 42 as it purportedly resolves upstream issue: https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec/issues/679
Thanks for the interest. There is a very small issue with 7.1.1 release with how it installs the python bindings. I've reported it upstream here and will wait to see how upstream responds: https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec/issues/695 I can certainly create a new patch if they are unwilling to fix this. I will follow-up with this after I return from vacation, late next week. Unrelated to libcec, since I am the mythtv package maintainer, I'd be interested to hear what your experience has been with mythtv 35. I assume no news is good news, but if you have any thoughts, feel free to email me or open a bug report on rpmfusion. I have yet to upgrade from mythtv 34.
I had a moment of opportunity and was able to push new packages from my current location. They should hit testing repo soon. Let me know if this solves the issue you are experiencing.
