Description keenonkites 2025-06-24 08:36:35 UTC
Please branch and build nrpe in epel10.0

Comment 1 Jan ONDREJ 2025-06-24 08:44:01 UTC
Unable to build, needs nagios-plugins to be present in EPEL 10.0.
Adding depending bugs here.

As a workaround, you can install NRPE from EPEL 10.1 by running this command:

yum install --releasever=10 nrpe

Comment 2 Lance Albertson 2025-09-16 15:24:55 UTC
nagios-plugins was just added to EPEL10.0 today. Can you please try again?

Thanks!

Am I missing something ? I don't see the packages under
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/10.0/Everything/x86_64/Packages/n/

It was added just a few hours ago. The mirrors might not be synced quite yet.

Comment 5 Jan ONDREJ 2025-09-17 06:35:25 UTC
nagios-common is still missing to install nrpe. I can push it to stable if this will be fixed. See https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2025-15942f19d7 for more information.

Comment 6 Nicolas Ross 2025-09-17 18:09:07 UTC
nagios-plugins are now there, but nrpe (the reporter asks) is still absent in 10.0

Comment 7 Jan ONDREJ 2025-09-18 06:11:26 UTC
nagios-plugins is, but nagios-common is still missing (pushed to stable, but needs to be processed). It's on the way. Without nagios-common can't install nagios-plugins, so still dependencies are broken.

Comment 8 Xavier Bachelot 2025-12-24 13:49:48 UTC
This issue is now obsolete as RHEL 10.1 has been released and consequently EPEL 10.0 is stalled.
