Despite the iniparser-devel package installing iniparser-staticTargets.cmake to /usr/lib64/cmake/iniparser, the static library that this CMake script refers to, it does not install libiniparser.a to /usr/lib64. This means that the CMake config file (/usr/lib64/cmake/iniparser/iniparser-config.cmake) becomes unusable because it includes both shared and static library scripts at the start of the main config script: # if the targets files exist it is save to include them, even if they are not # demanded include("${CMAKE_CURRENT_LIST_DIR}/iniparser-sharedTargets.cmake" OPTIONAL) include("${CMAKE_CURRENT_LIST_DIR}/iniparser-staticTargets.cmake" OPTIONAL) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use find_package to get the iniparser library: find_package(iniparser REQUIRED CONFIG) 2. Configure with CMake. Actual Results: Script throws an error (output attached to this bug report). Expected Results: The CMake script finds the package successfully. Additional Information: It seems the static library is provided by the iniparser-static package, so that means this package should depend on iniparser-static.
