1. Please describe the problem: I have TuneD set to balanced battery (and reports as such with tuned-adm active ) but after suspending my Framework 13 (with Ryzen 7640U) the power preference as reported by Mission Center states it has swapped to the Performance power profile (instead of balanced_power), despite tuned-adm active still reporting the mode is balanced-battery. This is further supported by btop showing the CPU clock is in boost always, which demonstrates it is in the performance power profile. I have made no changes to the default balanced-battery profile. 2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel: This has been happening since kernel 6.15.3 and is still occurring on kernel 6.15.6 3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue *first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 : The issue only started occurring on the 6.15.x kernels (6.14.x kernels work as expected). I don't believe TuneD has changed during that time, hence why this is filed as a kernel issue. 4. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, please provide the steps to reproduce the issue below: - Put your computer to suspend. - Wake the computer from suspend (s2idle in my case). - Notice the AMD power preference is now set to performance despite what TuneD may be set to. 5. Does this problem occur with the latest Rawhide kernel? To install the Rawhide kernel, run ``sudo dnf install fedora-repos-rawhide`` followed by ``sudo dnf update --enablerepo=rawhide kernel``: 6. Are you running any modules that not shipped with directly Fedora's kernel?: No, this is happening on fedora Silverblue with no modified system modules. 7. Please attach the kernel logs. You can get the complete kernel log for a boot with ``journalctl --no-hostname -k > dmesg.txt``. If the issue occurred on a previous boot, use the journalctl ``-b`` flag.
