Description Petr Pisar 2025-07-30 08:32:50 UTC
perl-Date-Handler-1.2-33.fc43 fails to build in Fedora 41 because t/7intuitivedst.t test fails:

# Test 5 got: "Mon 28 Oct 2002 02:00:00 AM EST" (/builddir/build/BUILD/perl-Date-Handler-1.2-build/Date-Handler-1.2/blib/lib/Date/Handler/Test.pm at line 1239)
#   Expected: "Mon 28 Oct 2002 01:00:00 AM EST"
#  /builddir/build/BUILD/perl-Date-Handler-1.2-build/Date-Handler-1.2/blib/lib/Date/Handler/Test.pm line 1239 is: 	ok($date5 + $oneday + $oneday, $date7);
t/7intuitivedst.t ....
Failed 1/7 subtests

A difference between last passing and first failing build root is at <https://koschei.fedoraproject.org/build/20870405>. This is probably triggered by upgrading perl-POSIX from 2.20-517.fc43 to 2.23-519.fc43.

Comment 2 Petr Pisar 2026-02-10 12:41:27 UTC
This is actually a bug in perl <https://github.com/Perl/perl5/issues/23878>.

Comment 3 Petr Pisar 2026-02-10 13:40:29 UTC
I will build this package in side-tags against a patched perl and push it into testing after stabilizing perl (F45), or together with it (F44, F43).
