From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0

Description of problem:
with kernel 2.6.20-1.3104 everything works fine.
i installed f7test4 from the life cd, installed the nvidia driver from freshrpms and made an "yum update". with the new kernel the system hangs after boot and only keyboard leds a blinking.
with standart nv driver its the same.
the system hangs after different times (sometimes 1 minute sometimes 10 minutes)

in /var/log/messages sometimes there is a error message before the system hangs:

setroubleshoot: [rpc.ERROR] attempt to open server connection failed: (2, 'Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden')

i disabled selinux und setroubleshoot but its still the same

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:

You need to test with the latest kernel from here:

Comment 2 Klaus Möllenhoff 2007-05-02 15:24:11 EDT
everything seems to work. i will report if system hangs again

what are the changes to the latest test kernel?
Comment 3 Chuck Ebbert 2007-05-02 15:40:22 EDT
This was probably the sis900 driver bug but there are more than a few fixes in
the latest kernel.
