Description of problem:
with kernel 2.6.20-1.3104 everything works fine. 
i installed f7test4 from the life cd, installed the nvidia driver from freshrpms and made an "yum update". with the new kernel the system hangs after boot and only keyboard leds a blinking.
with standart nv driver its the same.
the system hangs after different times (sometimes 1 minute sometimes 10 minutes)

in /var/log/messages sometimes there is a error message before the system hangs:

setroubleshoot: [rpc.ERROR] attempt to open server connection failed: (2, 'Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden')

i disabled selinux und setroubleshoot but its still the same

You need to test with the latest kernel from here:

everything seems to work. i will report if system hangs again

what are the changes to the latest test kernel?

This was probably the sis900 driver bug but there are more than a few fixes in
the latest kernel.
