Since advancecomp supports only recompressing zip files via the advzip tool, not extracting them, the code copied from 7-Zip[1] only covers the parts of the zipfile format dealing with compression. There is no support for or code related to extracting archive contents or manipulating symbolic links. Therefore, I think that it must be unaffected by this particular CVE.
