Comment 1 Ben Beasley 2025-08-12 17:15:30 UTC
This can be resolved by rebuilding uv with rust-slab 0.4.11 or later, bug 2387215, https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-qx2v-8332-m4fv.

Comment 2 Ben Beasley 2025-08-13 14:30:54 UTC
Fabio Valentini has analyzed the packages that depend on rust-slab in Fedora and determined that nothing actually uses the affected API, Slab::get_disjoint_mut. The rust-slab package will still be updated, since something might start using the API in the future, but we don’t need to rebuild packages like uv specifically for this issue.
