Description Miro Hrončok 2025-08-15 20:23:35 UTC
Dear package maintainer,

Due to reasons described in https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/XO5QGOXBWHFG7AOGDQBG23AQDS2MDTWI/ a rebuild of anaconda is needed in Fedora 43.

During the mass rebuild, it was determined that rawhide and f43 branches differ, hence I did not know if I could safely merge rawhide into f43 or if the f43 branch needs a diverging bump.

Please, determine this yourself and rebuild the package in Fedora 43, ideally before the Fedora 43 Beta freeze (2025-08-26).

Thank you. Let me know if you need help.

We just did a new upstream release yesterday to both Rawhide and Fedora 43 - so I think that might resolve the issue ?

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2803489
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2803488

We also started using common version and tarball for Rawhide and branched Fedora builds as of Fedora 43, so that might have added to the confusion a bit. :)
