Description TomasJuhasz 2025-08-18 13:27:40 UTC
node --force-fips -p 'crypto.getFips()' causes segfault, this is due to a missing previously used patch (https://gitlab.com/redhat/centos-stream/rpms/nodejs/-/blob/stream-nodejs-18-rhel-8.10.0/nodejs-fips-disable-options.patch?ref_type=heads).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. node --force-fips -p 'crypto.getFips()'
2.
3.
Actual Results:

  #  node[2002]: std::shared_ptr<node::InitializationResultImpl> node::InitializeOncePerProcessInternal(const std::vector<std::__cxx11::basic_string<char> >&, ProcessInitializationFlags::Flags) at ../../src/node.cc:1235
