Description of problem: Include the patch presented on the linux-audit mail list here: https://www.redhat.com/archives/linux-audit/2007-April/msg00020.html A variation of the patch was pulled into linux-audit git tree and should be included in 2.6.23 kernel. This is needed for new analytical applications doing anomaly detection.
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release.
