The pandoc manual page is not installed, either from the pandoc rpm, nor from the pandoc-cli rpm, nor is there an obvious pandoc-doc rpm. The pandoc authors wrote an extensive manual page. I should be able to read it on my system and not be forced to the web. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. dnf install pandoc pandoc-cli 2. man -k pandoc 3. Actual Results: man -k pandoc says: pandoc: nothing appropriate. Expected Results: I see the glorious documentation that appears as MANUAL.txt in the pandoc source code. Additional Information: Pandoc's INSTALL.md says: 5. Cabal does not install the `pandoc.1` man page, but you can copy it from the `man/` directory of the source code to `/usr/local/share/man/man1/` or wherever man pages go on your system. So presumably the spec needs to manually copy this file, and %files needs to be extended.
Thank you - good report. Not quite sure how the manpage slipped out (though I had brought them back already for f43). I see it is also missing in f41 and epel10, sigh :-(
