1. Do a fresh installation with Fedora-Workstation-Live-43_Beta-1.3.x86_64.iso, 2. boot into the system, and create another user 3. switch to that user session by clicking the "switch user" button 4. switch back and try to restart the system, gnome-shell claims that other users login let me choose "cancel" or "restart", I click "restart", nothing happens Reproducible: Always

Proposed as a Blocker for 43-beta by Fedora user lnie using the blocker tracking app because: seems affect the criteria: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_43_Beta_Release_Criteria#Shutdown,_reboot,_login,_logout
I cannot reproduce this on Beta RC3. For me, all following scenarios work fine: * an admin user restarts when non admin user logged in -> computer restarts * an admin user restarts when another admin user logged in -> computer restarts * a non admin user restarts when an admin user logged in -> computer restarts I tested this on a freshly installed system.
You need start an app(say, firefox) in the not-restarter user session,ie, if you let userA restart the session, you need have at least an app opened in userB session. Works with f42, btw.
okay, try 3 more times, not able to reproduce anymore, closing.
