Description Marcus Watts 2025-09-11 08:23:04 UTC
In the upstream PR for copy object encryption here
https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/54543
changes were requested for fixing returned attributes
to better match aws. It is claimed that tests in this PR
against s3-tests checks for that:
https://github.com/ceph/s3-tests/pull/595

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
run the indicated branch of s3-tests.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Additional info:
I believe the two operations that fail to return encryption attributes are "copyobject" and "completemultipartupload". The aws doc is somewhat ambiguous and not entirely consistent, so it is possible aws returns additional attributes or may otherwise behave differently than documented.
