Description of problem: After upgrading to the latest kernel I've started to experience that the system hangs from time to time for a minute or so Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.6.20-1.2948 How reproducible: Happens from time to time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start some disk activity 2. If the system hangs, then wait for a minute or so 3. Proceed normally Actual results: System hangs Expected results: No delays Additional info: After some searching on the net I found that the line 'options sata_nv adma=0' in /etc/modprobe.conf could help and it seems to have in my case. The disk in question is a ATA Maxtor 6N040T0 and the controller an nVidia CK804
