On a Fedora 43 system, install gnome-shell-extension-system-monitor-applet and try enabling it Actual results: Extension fails to enable. Expected results: Successful enablement. Additional info: Upstream added GS 49 support in https://github.com/mgalgs/gnome-shell-system-monitor-next-applet/commit/cda59ae007842244711486f6e81be1fd731b23e5 , please update to at least that commit.
