Description of problem: Evolution crashes on shutdown Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): evolution-2.10.1-4.fc7.x86_64 How reproducible: Fairly reproductible Additional info: See upstream bug (and proposed patch)
the description sounds a bit like upstream bug 334966: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334966 is this still an issue?
who knows, evo still crashes, but it could be another bug
can you provide a stacktrace of the crash? your original report also states "Additional info: See upstream bug (and proposed patch)" which confuses me - which upstream bug?
oh well, sorry for the noise. but having a stacktrace would make it easier to find out.
The upstream bug is full of stacks (see external bugzilla reference) Otherwise I gave up on trying to pre-filter evo traces since I've learnt evo can crash for many different reasons at the same place. I just let bugbuddy fill upstream bugzilla and let evo developpers decide if they already know the problem or not You can easily get all recent rawhide bugbuddy traces with the following query http://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&product=Evolution&long_desc_type=allwords&long_desc=Rawhide+BugBuddy&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&bug_status=NEEDINFO&bug_severity=critical&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailqa_contact2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Bug+Number&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=
Didn't see any crash for a long time
