For the record, this should be covered by changes related to bug #2422976, which contains links to the PackageKit-1.3.3-10 updates (for Fedora 43 and rawhide).

There had been done a possible fix for this on the PackageKit side [1], which should help, but it needs testing in a real environment. Would anybody of those facing the problem be willing to give a try to the fix, please? I can build a test PackageKit package with that change, it would last only for about two weeks in Koji, thus I first ask whether anybody can give it a try before I build the test package. Thanks in advance. [1] https://github.com/PackageKit/PackageKit/pull/976
