The title says it all. This is follow-up to the change proposal described here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Python3.14 where the need for exception has been mentioned. Python 3.14.0 has been released on Oct 7 and currently is built for Fedora (update TBD). We don't want to release Fedora with a release candidate as a main Python, it doesn't look so nice as releasing with the final version.
FEDORA-2025-13c9d56634 (python3.14-3.14.0-1.fc43 and python3-docs-3.14.0-1.fc43) has been submitted as an update to Fedora 43. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-13c9d56634
FEDORA-2025-13c9d56634 has been pushed to the Fedora 43 testing repository. Soon you'll be able to install the update with the following command: `sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2025-13c9d56634` You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-13c9d56634 See also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for more information on how to test updates.
