After updating to the 6.17+ kernel, I now receive a new "ata4.00: Invalid log directory version 0x0000" error message in dmesg and system logs. It doesn't prevent me from booting into or using my system, but I don't receive the error on the previous 6.16 kernels. However the error remains on the latest 6.18.0-0.rc0.251010g5472d60c129f7.13.fc44 (rawhide) kernel. kernel-6.17.1-300.fc42.x86_64 kernel-6.17.2-300.fc42.x86_64 kernel-6.18.0-0.rc0.251010g5472d60c129f7.13.fc44.x86_64 Here’s another user with an identical error message: https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/bugs@lists.opensuse.org/thread/LIAATTXRGWOFUAAJ24TXTGK4NYZUJSH3/ https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=220635
