Description Miro Hrončok 2025-10-14 21:17:53 UTC
Fix in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/ipython/pull-request/101 -- opening to request a freeze exception as ipython is on the Python Classroom Lab.

To reproduce (with python3-ipython-8.37.0-10.fc43.noarch):

$ sudo dnf install ipython pip
$ pip install --user pello
$ ipython
In [1]: import pello
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
ModuleNotFoundError Traceback (most recent call last)
Cell In[1], line 1
----> 1 import pello

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pello'

While on Fedora 42:

In [1]: import pello

In [2]:

This was caused by an unnoticed change when ipython was converted to %pyproject RPM macros.
