GNOME 49.1 is now available. I'm opening this bug to propose it as a Freeze exception and to open discussion if the contained fixes, especially the accessibility fixes, are worth including in the F43 release. Reproducible: Always Additional Information: Bodhi update: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-cbc8c8f3ef
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 43-final by Fedora user pschindl using the blocker tracking app because: The latest is always the best. GNOME 49.1 contains fixes for some known bugs (even though they were mostly added as downstream patches) and also some accessibility related fixes which would be good to have.

I agree. GNOME 49.1 brings many important bug fixes and other improvements. It would be great to have it in Fedora 43 out-of-box.
