Description Jonathan R 2025-10-29 15:28:57 UTC
Hi!

Since upgrading to Fedora 43, I constantly see that moving windows between monitors causes Gnome to crash, logging my user out.

This happens specifically when I tried moving Chrome tabs between 2 monitors (left to right) by dragging it with my mouse, and it always happens just as my cursor is at the center between the monitors.

This seems to happen constantly, and I already reproduced it a few times.

I use an Intel i7 processor and NVIDIA 3060 GPU. I'll be happy to include any other information as requested

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a Chrome window with a few tabs
2. Grab one tab with the mouse, try to move it fast between monitors
3. Gnome-shell crashes, user is logged out
Actual Results:
GNOME crashes, user is logged out

Expected Results:
The window passes between monitors normally
