The KiCad application (Version 9.0.5-1.fc43, from the official Fedora repositories) consistently crashes on Fedora 43.

The main project manager window opens correctly, and the Schematic Editor (Eeschema) also appears to open.

However, any attempt to launch the PCB Editor (Pcbnew)—either by clicking the icon or opening a .kicad_pcb file—causes the entire application to terminate instantly without any on-screen error message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch the KiCad application.
2.Launch the KiCad application.
3.Click the "PCB Editor" icon in the main project manager.
Actual Results:
The entire KiCad application crashes and disappears.

Expected Results:
The PCB Editor (Pcbnew) window should open, displaying the board layout.

Additional Information:
Running on a Lenovo X380 Yoga.
