Description lnie 2025-11-03 14:48:41 UTC
1.Boot Fedora-Workstation-Live-Rawhide-20251102.n.0.x86_64.iso
2.Create some partitions using storage-editor:
at least one partition should be formatted with btrfs
3.Click into "mount point assignment", set /home on the no-btrfs partition, / on the btrfs partition, click "Next", then click "back",
4.Error message "Unknown or invalid device 'BTRFS-8e0030b4-8672-4cd4-936f-80e8109eb9c2' specified" will come up after you click "Next"

You will be able to continue the installation after you click "back" and "next" again, But the installation will be aborted after a while as shown in the attached screenshot

Reproducible: Always

I've seen this several times in different senario, the reproducer mentioned in description is 100% reproducible.
