Description JT 2025-11-04 03:05:13 UTC
Hi,

I would like to see transfig get built for epel 10 as it is a requirement for a package I maintain (currently working on getting it built for epel 10). I would be more than happy to help maintain the package and the epel build specifically.

Thanks in advance!

JT (fas: jtaylor)

Reproducible: Always

Hi,
branch requested: https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/79371
build done: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=138723317

I believe that is all I had to do.
There does not seem to be any more maintenance from the upstream, so it would be a good idea to consider dropping the build requirement.
What package are you building?

Great, thank you! I am building ragel/colm which I need for vectorscan, which I need for suricata. I was going to do some testing with dropping the dependency as you said, I am not entirely sure it is necessary at this point.

It looks like maybe an update needs to be made for the new build in bodhi? I am not able to install the build via testing repos.
