exfat.degrag included in exfatprogs is not functional. The implementation is inadequate and often results in data loss. It should not be included in the rpm. See the URL for some technical detail. FS degrag should be implemented in the kernel like all the other fs on Linux such as ext4 and f2fs. defrag.exfat is implemented purely in userspace. Reproducible: Always
