Description Deeraj Patil 2025-11-10 07:19:59 UTC
Description of problem:

Currently tls and mtls are enabled in NFS-ganesha via config :
sec=mtls/tls along with other available options.

but as per the upstream community discussion, mtls/tls should be under a new entry xprtsec = mtls/tls .

default value will be none for xprtsec.

i.e now the new NFS_GANESHA config will look like below after the new changes.

EXPORT{
Export_Id = 12345;
sec=sys,krb5;
xprtsec=mtls;
}

Because of the current changes to nfs-ganesha config, cephadm also needs to handle the same.
The initial cephadm changes were done by : https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2395169

Thanks,
Deeraj
