Description Christoph Karl 2025-11-15 08:35:21 UTC
It seems that the files in /usr/lib/fontconfig/cache/ are generated files.
Should they be moved to /var/cache/fonconfig/?
I am not sure about this, but my understanding is that /usr can be made read-only.

Do all programs read "/etc/fonts/fonts.conf" to get the location of this cache files?

Reproducible: Always

This has already been discussed and changed like so. See Bug#1377367 and then Bug#1416380.
