Description of problem: Net::MQTT::Simple does not resubscribe the watched events after reconnect. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): perl-Net-MQTT-Simple-1.32-2.fc43.noarch How reproducible: 100 % Steps to Reproduce: Run the following code against your MQTT server with some/topic, which occasionally sends events: ================ #!/usr/bin/perl -w use v5.40; use Net::MQTT::Simple; my $mqtt = Net::MQTT::Simple->new('127.0.0.1'); $mqtt->subscribe('some/topic' => sub { say STDERR "got event"; }); while (1) { $mqtt->tick(90); say STDERR "mqtt tick"; } ================ Actual results: Only first few events are received. After the connection times out and Net::MQTT::Simple reconnects, no further events are received. Expected results: All events for some/topic should be received indefinitely. Additional info: This is known issue, fixed in 1.33. Please package an updated upstream version.
