Description Srihari Vijayaraghavan 2025-11-24 18:47:51 UTC
Installer WebUI Critical Error:
org.fedoraproject.Anaconda.Error: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'path'

Please attach the log file /tmp/journal.log to the issue.

---[ System & Environment Information ]---
OS: Fedora Linux 43 (Xfce)
Anaconda version: 43.44
Anaconda UI version: 53.14.g7ea927aa

This happens with a btrfs RAID0 volume. This happens whether it's a fresh install or an in-place Fedora 42 to 43 install.

Obviously there was no such problem during Fedora 41 to 42 in-place upgrade.

It appears though btrfs RAID0 is unsupported by Fedora 43 installer.

Comment 1 Srihari Vijayaraghavan 2025-11-24 18:49:23 UTC
After such a failed Fedora 42 to 43 in-place upgrade, rebooting the system in the (albeit failed to upgrade) system, it results in a unbootable system with a kernel panic.
